It is an installation that consists of the projection of a video on a canvas. The canvas is divided in two. An empty space where Martin is portrayed. A blind old man, who has sung for several decades in the streets of San José, Costa Rica. The other half is a full, decorated space where a video is projected that is like a simulator of Martin’s blindness. The video is recorded in the place where Martin sits down to sing. Passers-by are like shadows that pass without much interaction with Martin. The video is accompanied by an interview with Martin about how he identifies people despite his blindness.
